Notice To Congress Leaders For Uploading AI Video Of Om Birla: Notice To Congress Leaders For Making AI Video Of Om Birla And Uploading It On Social Media
New Delhi. Making AI video of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and uploading it on social media seems to be proving costly for Congress. On the complaint of BJP MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma, a notice has been issued to eight Congress leaders by the Privileges Department of the Lok Sabha. A written reply has been sought from Congress’ social media and digital platform chairperson Supriya Shrinet, senior leaders Pawan Kheda, Jairam Ramesh, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Manish Tiwari, Gaurav Gogoi, Rajni Patil and Ranjit Ranjan within 7 days on the allegation of insulting the Lok Sabha Speaker.
Complainant Vishnu Dutt Sharma has alleged that the Congress media cell deliberately made a misleading AI video of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and used derogatory photographs. Since it is related to the honor of a person holding a constitutional post, this matter has been kept in the category of contempt of the House. On the other hand, Congress has reacted to this matter and termed it as an act of political vendetta. Congress accused the ruling party of trying to suppress the voice of the opposition. Pawan Kheda said that privilege is being used to suppress those who speak against the government, he said that we will respond.

Whereas Supriya Shrinet said that we had written AI generated in the video, then why was this notice issued? If the Congress leaders do not respond to this notice or the Privileges Department of the Lok Sabha is not satisfied with their response, then action can be taken against them. Congress leaders may be suspended from the House or fined. However, this is not the first time that a notice has been issued to a member by the Privileges Department of the Lok Sabha on some issue. This has happened many times before also.
