Trump’s letter about the trade-future with Bangladesh to take responsibility as ‘I hope…’

Tariq Rahman has just taken oath as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. This time US President Donald Trump sent a letter to him. While congratulating him for his new responsibility, he also learned about business. Directly wrote, ‘You have just taken responsibility. I look forward to continuing the wonderful business relationship we have developed.’

What exactly did Trump write? He was seen writing, ‘On behalf of the American people, I congratulate you on your historic election victory. And I wish you a successful term as Prime Minister of Bangladesh.’ He then reminded, ‘The relationship between our two countries stands on mutual respect and efforts to strengthen the Indo-Pacific. So that sovereign nations can prosper together.’

After that, Trump brought up the topic of trade. Sojasuji also wrote that if the commercial relations between the two countries are dynamic, it will benefit the farmers and workers of both the countries. The informed circles think that this letter of the US President is important. The White House signed a trade deal with the interim government before the elections in Bangladesh. This time Trump continued his ‘work’ related to trade while sitting in the Tariq Bill.

At the beginning of this year, the US has suspended the process of granting immigrant visas to 75 countries, including Bangladesh. Experts believe that the rise of hardliners after Hasina, along with the anarchic situation in the country, is one of the reasons for Bangladeshis becoming ‘brothers’ in the US. The experts will definitely keep an eye on which direction that relationship turns during Tarek’s tenure. But at the same time, by talking directly about trade, Trump made it clear that he would say directly what he had to say about tariffs and money from trade, not ‘dhak dhak gur gur’.
