Lucknow. After all the allegations against the OSD of KGMU Vice Chancellor located in Lucknow, the capital of UP, he has been removed from the post. However, no new OSD has been appointed yet. Clerical cadre employees have been entrusted with the responsibility of OSD work. Investigation into the matter has started.

In the month of January, the resident doctor of pathology in KGMU had made serious allegations against the senior resident of the department, Dr. Rameez. There was pressure to change religion before marriage. The victim had lodged a complaint with the police. After this, Hindu organizations created ruckus in KGMU. The Vice Chancellor’s office was vandalized.

Hindu organizations also made many serious allegations against the OSD of the Vice Chancellor. Also demanded his removal. The Vice Chancellor made him OSD after retirement. KGMU Administration has finally removed the OSD from the post. Spokesperson Dr. KK Singh says that the OSD of the Vice Chancellor has been removed. A clerical cadre employee has been made OSD.

Pension benefit given to ad-hoc employee, inquiry ordered

The issue of former OSD of KGMU Vice Chancellor Syed Akhtar Abbas and employees was raised in the Legislative Council. There were complaints against Syed Akhtar Abbas and other employees for providing retirement benefits and pension against the rules.

Two-member committee formed for investigation

Deputy CM has ordered an investigation into the matter. A two-member committee has been constituted to investigate the issue of giving pension and other financial benefits to ad-hoc employees without regularization. In this, Special Secretary of Medical Education Department, Krutika Sharma has been appointed as the chairperson of the committee. Whereas, the Finance Controller of the Medical and Health Department has been made a member. Medical Education Department Secretary Sarika Mohan has issued the order. This has created panic in KGMU.
