Stop judging’ – Samiya Hijab responds from Makkah

Social media personality Samiya Hijab has responded strongly to online criticism after sharing moments from her recent Umrah in Makkah. The digital creator, who rose to fame within months and now has a significant Instagram following, often remains in the spotlight for her bold opinions and viral content.

Currently spending Ramazan in Makkah, Samiya posted videos and pictures from her spiritual journey, including her time near the Kaaba. While many followers appreciated her devotion, some critics accused her of seeking forgiveness after past controversies. A few users commented that performing Umrah after committing “sins” was hypocritical.

Addressing the backlash through Instagram, Samiya shared an emotional message. She said she often speaks to Allah about her struggles and believes her prayers have been answered many times. She questioned why people judge others’ intentions, adding that both sinners and pious individuals visit Makkah for repentance and worship. She also criticized the cultural saying implying that people only turn to faith after wrongdoing, arguing that no one can truly know what lies in someone’s heart.

Samiya emphasized that if Allah calls someone to His house, it reflects divine mercy rather than human judgment. She urged followers to stop policing others’ faith and focus on their own spiritual journeys.

The response online has been mixed. Many supporters praised her for openly expressing her faith and seeking forgiveness during Ramadan. Others remained critical, with some even drawing controversial comparisons to late internet personality Qandeel Baloch.
