Patna : A big development has come out from the politics of Bihar. The Patna High Court has issued notices to 42 MLAs of the ruling and opposition parties. This includes Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar. The court has sought a reply on allegations of false information and irregularities in the election affidavit. Considering the seriousness of this case, the court has directed to file an explanation within the given time. Due to this decision, there has been a political uproar in the state.

 

What exactly is the case?

The candidates contesting the elections had filed a petition in the Patna High Court against the MLAs who had been served notice by the High Court. In this petition, all these 42 MLAs hid many information in their election affidavits. In some cases, there are allegations of confusion in the voting process of the elections. In this first hearing, the High Court has sent a notice to all the 42 MLAs and asked them to present their views. Now after these MLAs have replied to the notice, the next hearing will be held.

Which leaders were served with notices?

Power Minister Vijendra Yadav is also among those who have received notices. Former Minister Jeevesh Mishra and MLA Chetan Anand will also have to answer. The name of Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA from Goh Amarendra Prasad is also in this list.
