Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak had recently expressed his displeasure over the mistreatment meted out to the Batukas. My friend had said that those who misbehave with wallets would be guilty of sin. Now Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has honored around 100 Batukas at his residence and also showered flowers on them. Not only this, he also welcomed him by applying tilak. On this occasion it was said that those who pull their braids will commit sin. Amidst the Shankaracharya controversy, this honor of Brajesh Pathak is being linked to damage control.

Actually, the controversy over Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda in the ongoing Magh Mela in Prayagraj is still not stopping. Amidst all this, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has honored the Batuks by calling them to his residence. Earlier, Keshav Prasad Maurya had also given a statement in support of Shankaracharya during Magh Mela. He had said that Shankaracharya is revered.
