Amidst the Shankaracharya controversy, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak honored 100 batukas, said – those who pull the braids will be guilty of sin

Lucknow. The BJP government seems to be divided into two camps in the matter of misbehavior with Batukas in Magh Mela. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak had recently expressed his displeasure over the mistreatment meted out to the Batukas. My friend had said that those who misbehave with wallets would be guilty of sin. Now Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has honored around 100 Batukas at his residence and also showered flowers on them. Not only this, he also welcomed him by applying tilak. On this occasion it was said that those who pull their braids will commit sin. Amidst the Shankaracharya controversy, this honor of Brajesh Pathak is being linked to damage control.

Actually, the controversy over Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda in the ongoing Magh Mela in Prayagraj is still not stopping. Recently, CM Yogi Adityanath had even called him Kalnemi without taking his name. Even during the budget session, he had said that he cannot call himself Shankaracharya. Amidst all this, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has honored the Batuks by calling them to his residence. It is clear from this that the process of damage control is going on at the behest of the government. Or the people of the government are divided into two camps.

Earlier, Keshav Prasad Maurya had also given a statement in support of Shankaracharya during Magh Mela. He had said that Shankaracharya is revered. He requested Shankaracharya to take bath and requested him to end the matter. After this statement of Keshav Maurya, many kinds of things were being said. However, now other Deputy CMs of the state have also come out in his support.

Let us tell you that the opposition, especially the SP, is cornering the government regarding this statement of CM Yogi. Akhilesh Yadav said that if certificates are asked from those who ask for certificates from others, then which certificate will they give? There is a lot of turmoil going on in the politics of the state regarding Shakanracharya. Meanwhile, Brajesh Pathak honored the Batukas. Political pundits are linking it to damage control.
