Congress raised questions

At the same time, Congress has raised questions regarding the detention of Yogendra Sao and Nirmala Devi. Questions have been raised on the working style of Hazaribagh DC. Congress State President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh said that former minister Yogendra Sao and former MLA Nirmala Devi were protesting peacefully along with the people of Barkagaon. He said that as part of the process of democracy, these people were protesting against the land acquisition law, from where the police have detained both of them, which is not right. He said that when NTPC did not come here, we were happy. But ever since NTPC came here, our land has been lost and even compensation has not been given. The state president demanded the administration to release both the leaders and said that they should be released immediately. State Congress working president Bandhu Tirkey said that Yogendra Sao and his wife have been arrested. I want to ask DC through media whether the 2013 law has been followed or not? The Congress Party had formed a committee, but its report apparently has not come yet.
