Nails Care Tips: Nails will grow fast and will not break… just follow these 5 easy tips
Beauty Tips:Long, strong and shiny nails not only enhance beauty but also indicate your health. Clean, pink and smooth nails indicate that the body is getting proper nutrition. Therefore, healthy nails are not only a beauty trend but also a mirror of good health.
It is often seen that nails break while doing household work or even crack due to minor injuries. Many people’s nails grow, but break quickly or lack shine. If you are also struggling with such a problem, then by adopting these 5 easy tips you can improve both the growth and strength of your nails.
1. Pay special attention to nutrition
Weak, lifeless or frequently breaking nails can be a sign of nutritional deficiency. If the edges of the nails start cracking or they lack shine, then first of all improve your diet.
Include protein and biotin in the diet. Along with this, consume foods rich in Vitamin D, Iron, Zinc and Omega-3. Things like eggs, fish, legumes, chicken, almonds, sweet potatoes, spinach, beetroot, seeds, whole grains, flaxseed and walnuts are considered beneficial for the health of nails.
2. Regular trimming is necessary
To keep the nails in perfect shape, light trimming should be done from time to time. After this, smoothen the edges with a filer. This not only makes the nails look beautiful, but also reduces the chances of them breaking.
If the edges are not set properly, cracks start forming in them, which later lead to breakage.
3. Garlic will provide strength
Among home remedies, garlic is considered effective for strengthening nails. The sulfur present in it helps in improving the growth of nails.
You can peel the garlic cloves and rub them gently on the nails or apply its juice and leave it for some time. Doing this two to three times a week can be beneficial.
4. Keep cuticles moisturized
Along with nails, it is also very important to provide moisture to the cuticles. For this, massage lightly with almond or coconut oil. Applying oil and massaging the nails and cuticles before sleeping at night makes the nails strong and shiny.
Mix a little lemon juice in olive oil and massage and wash hands after 10-15 minutes. This helps in reducing the yellowness of nails.
5. Take a break from nail polish
The chemicals present in nail polish and remover can damage the nails and cuticles. Therefore, avoid the habit of applying nail polish daily. Use it only when needed and limit the use of remover.
By giving regular breaks the nails remain naturally strong.
