MP Ricky AJ Sinkon fell while playing football, died in hospital, mourning in political circles

Desk: A very sad news has come out from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Voice of the People Party (VPP) MP Ricky AJ Sinkon passed away on Thursday evening after his health suddenly deteriorated. According to the information, he was playing football with friends when he suddenly collapsed on the field. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but despite the efforts of the doctors, his life could not be saved. According to media reports, he was first taken to Mawiong Community Health Centre. There was no doctor present, so he was immediately referred to Dr. H. Gordon Roberts Hospital in Jiao for advanced treatment.

MP suddenly fell during the match

According to reports, Dr Ricky AJ Sinkon was playing football with friends in a field in Mawlai Maviong area near Shillong on Thursday evening. During the game, he suddenly fell on the field, causing chaos among the people present there. Friends rushed him to Mawiong Community Health Center (CHC) without any delay, but as a doctor was not present there, he had to be immediately referred to another hospital.
Died during treatment in hospital

After this the MP was taken to Dr. H Gordon Roberts Hospital in Jayav. According to sources, he died shortly after being admitted to the hospital at around 8:42 pm. As soon as this news spread, a wave of mourning ran in the politics of Meghalaya.
Political leaders expressed grief

As soon as information about the incident was received, Deputy Chief Minister Preston Tynsong, VPP President Ardent Miller Basaiyawmoit and many MLAs and political leaders reached the hospital. All the leaders described Sinkon's death as a big loss for the state's politics.
