UP government update, 1 big good news for teachers

Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government has shown speed in implementing an important health facility for the teachers and employees of the Basic Education Council. Now teachers, Shikshamitras, special teachers, instructors, wardens of Kasturba Gandhi Girls Schools and full-time teachers working in council schools will be able to avail the benefit of cashless medical facility.

Scheme scope and beneficiaries

The scope of this facility not only includes teachers and staff, but the cooks of Pradhan Mantri Poshan Yojana (Mid-Day Meal) will also be able to avail its benefit. Its objective is to strengthen health security and make medical care easy and accessible for employees and their families.

Orders issued to speed up the process

Director General School Education Monica Rani has instructed all the concerned officials that all the steps related to the scheme should be completed within the stipulated time. This means that there should be no delay in preparing the list of eligible beneficiaries and completing the process.

According to government officials, point-wise data of all the beneficiaries will be prepared and sent to the Chief Executive Officer of Sachij through the Director of Basic Education by June 30. This will ensure that all eligible employees and their families can avail the benefits of medical facilities on time.

This initiative will not only provide financial relief to the employees of Basic Shiksha Parishad, but will also make it easier for them to face health related problems. Under cashless medical facility, they will not have to face the hassle of money in hospitals and timely treatment will be ensured. The implementation of this scheme clearly shows the government’s commitment towards the life safety and health of the employees and teachers working in the education sector of Uttar Pradesh.
