BJP said- a conspiracy was hatched to embarrass India

BJP’s IT cell chief Amit Malviya has made a scathing attack on the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi over the protest by Youth Congress during the AI Summit. Malviya has termed this incident as “National Shame”. He posted on X saying that this is a matter of national shame. While India is hosting a prestigious global AI summit, showcasing its technological innovation and leadership, the Congress party chose disruption over dignity. Congress workers stripped half naked and created a ruckus at the venue, which was clearly designed to embarrass India on the world stage. He further said that when the country is attempting to establish itself as a global technological superpower, such conduct only serves the interests of those who want to see India falter. Political opposition is a democratic right, but harming India’s global image is not a right. India deserves better than this.

Let us tell you that this conference is the first global AI summit organized by India in the Global South, in which a record level of international participation has been recorded. Heads of state of more than 20 countries, 60 ministers and more than 500 global AI experts and industry representatives participated in it. By bringing together policy-makers, technology companies, startups, academia and industry leaders, the event seeks to translate the global AI conversation into concrete and implementable development outcomes under the India AI Mission and Digital India initiative.
