Trump lay alone before the attack, Britain also left him; Will Iran’s army overwhelm America?
US Iran Tension: The clouds of war in the Middle East have become dark after US President Donald Trump gave an ultimatum of 10-15 days to Iran. However, just before this possible military action, Trump has suffered a major diplomatic and strategic setback. Britain, their oldest and closest ally, has flatly refused to use its Diego Garcia airbase for attacks against Iran.
Britain’s refusal and Trump’s difficulties
Diego Garcia, located in the Indian Ocean, is a very modern airbase from where America’s huge bomber aircraft like B-1, B-2 Stealth and B-52 take off. This base is the main center of logistics and technology for nuclear submarines and warships. After this decision of Britain, now American fighter jets will not get written permission to use this airfield for attacks, due to which Trump will feel ‘alone’ at the international level. Looks like they are falling.
Iran’s tough stance and Trump’s three conditions
- Nuclear Programme: Stopping uranium enrichment and allowing the IAEA to investigate at any time.
- Ballistic Missile: To completely stop the manufacturing of long range missiles.
- Proxy War: Ending military and financial support to Houthi, Hezbollah and Hamas.
Iran is ready to discuss nuclear weapons but has flatly refused to stop its ballistic missile program and aid to its regional allies. Due to this stubbornness, Trump has warned of facing serious consequences within 15 days.
Largest military deployment since 2003
Even though Britain has refused to give up its base, America still has many strong military bases in Qatar (Al Udeid), Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. USS Abraham Lincoln at sea now accompanied by USS Gerald R. Ford Aircraft Carrier is also about to arrive.

Largest army deployed after Iraq war
America has deployed its largest army in the Middle East since the 2003 Iraq War, which includes more than 50 advanced fighter jets (F-35, F-22) and modern air defense systems. Military experts believe that if this war starts, it will not only drag on for a long time but the forces of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei can give a tough challenge to America.
