Bollywood director Vikram Bhatt released from Udaipur Central Jail, said – ‘I am a devotee of Shri Krishna, Jail Panchwa Dham’

Udaipur: Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt was released on bail from Central Jail on Friday. As soon as Vikram Bhatt came out of jail, he bowed his head at the Shiva temple. After coming out of jail on Friday, Vikram Bhatt while talking to the media said that ‘I have spent two and a half months in jail. I was not only hopeful, I was fully confident that the law and order situation here and the truth would definitely emerge. I made a friend in jail, who told me about the nature of the soil of Mewar. He told that truth may be troubled in the soil of Mewar, but it cannot be defeated. I am leaving from here with the same inoculation of the soil of Mewar, truth will always prevail here.

On the time spent in jail for 2 months and 11 days, Vikram Bhatt said that this is the fifth Dham. I am a devotee of Shri Krishna. I was living at the same place where Shri Krishna was born. Understand that I am coming out better and twice as good as I was before. A new struggle has to be fought like Shri Krishna. The filmmaker further said that I do not want to say much about law and order. I have full faith in the law and order system of this country. Whatever justice is done will be in everyone’s interest. His lawyer present with Vikram Bhatt said that on 27th the Supreme Court has called both the parties. There our efforts will be to resolve this through mediation. We are in the same effort.

Let us tell you that the Supreme Court has granted regular bail to film director Vikram Bhatt and his wife Shwetambari Bhatt in the Rs 30 crore fraud case. Indira IVF owner Ajay Murdia has accused both of them that there was an agreement to make a film with Vikram Bhatt in the name of making a biopic of his late wife. Vikram Bhatt had said that four films will be made with an initial funding of Rs 7 crore and a total of Rs 47 crore. It is alleged that after taking Rs 30 crore, Vikram Bhatt started dilly-dallying. For this reason, Rajasthan Police arrested both of them in December 2025.
