Korean Singer in Chennai Temple : South Korean pop singer Aoora is once again in the news for her devotion towards Indian culture. The 40-year-old artiste, whose real name is Park Min-jun, recently visited a Shiva temple in Chennai, where he offered special prayers on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
During this time he was wearing traditional white mundu and light colored shirt. Sharing this experience on her social media, Aoora wrote that chanting with hundreds of people in the temple was a very emotional and memorable moment of her life.

South Korean pop singer’s devotion to Shiva
The ‘Shiv Tandav Stotra’ sung by him is attracting the most attention in this video. This stotra is known for its difficult Sanskrit verses and complex rhythm. The special thing was that Aoora recited the verses with full confidence without looking at any mobile or lyrics sheet.
The devotees present in the temple also seemed impressed by his presentation. In another clip, he was seen singing the stotra as a duet with a woman, where the woman was looking at the lyrics from her phone while Aoora sang the entire text from memory.

His temple visit and style of devotion to Shiva have further strengthened his growing connection with India among his fans.
