Benefits and precautions of curd
Importance of curd: Curd not only provides energy to the body, but it also improves the skin. It contains rich amounts of protein, calcium, lactic acid and vitamins. However, it is important to keep some things in mind while consuming curd so that its consumption does not have any negative effects.
1. Individuals who have skin problems or allergies should limit their consumption of curd. If curd is to be consumed, it is better to add sugar to it. This can affect the microcirculatory channels, causing itching on the skin. Patients suffering from asthma, acidity, arthritis and allergy should reduce the consumption of curd very little.
2. Curd should not be consumed at night, because it can cause cough related problems. Eating curd at night can cause accumulation of phlegm in the chest, which can cause cough, cold, fever and other health problems.
3. Curd should not be eaten cold immediately after taking it out of the refrigerator. It should always be eaten at normal temperature, because its nature is hot. Eating too much cold food can increase heat in the body, which can cause sweating and heat rash.
4. Curd mixed with salt should not be kept for a long time. It should be consumed immediately after adding salt, because it destroys the lactic acid present in the curd and also destroys its other properties, which can cause acidity, constipation and skin problems.
5. Consuming curd with sugar, moong dal, rice, isabgol and wheat bread is more beneficial, whereas consuming curd alone is not as beneficial.
