Judokas of Lucknow ready to show their strength, Lucknow team declared for sub-junior boys-girls judo competition.

Lucknow, Read: The team of Lucknow division was declared on Friday for the Uttar Pradesh State Sub-Junior Boys and Girls Judo Championship. The list of players was released after the selection process was completed. The competition will be held in Lucknow from 25th to 27th February, in which players from across the state will participate.

Nine boys and six girls have got place in the Lucknow team. Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Judo Association, Munawwar Anjar said that the selected players are ready for better performance. The boys category includes Arshan, Shiva, Hariom, Shivam Saini, Kanha, Om Singh, Prince Patel, Pradeep and Ravi. In the girls category, Vanshika, Aaradhya Sahu, Kanak, Purvi, Sachi Dubey and Sachi Singh have been selected.

Payal, Adyanshi and Mansi from Hardoi district have also made their place. During the selection the players demonstrated technique and fitness. This championship is considered an important platform for emerging players.
