Who is Prince Samra of Canada? Who scored a century in the T20 World Cup at the age of just 19, has a connection with an Indian player.
NZ vs Can: Canada’s young batsman Yuvraj Samra did wonders in the T20 World Cup 2026. In the match against New Zealand at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, he played a explosive inning of 110 runs in just 65 balls. This brilliant century included 11 fours and 6 sixes. Thanks to this inning, Canada made a strong score of 173 runs.
This achievement is special because at the age of 19 years and 141 days, Samra became the youngest player to score a century in the T20 World Cup. Earlier, the record was held by Pakistan’s Ahmed Shahzad (22 years, 127 days). Samra also became the first batsman from an associate nation to score a century in the T20 World Cup.

Samra was born in 2006, when Yuvraj Singh created a stir in international cricket. Like him, Samra is also a tall left-handed batsman, who is adept at playing big shots.
