PGIMER Chandigarh news; Pediatric Critical Care Division of Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh 20–22 February 2026 is organizing the 4th Asian Pediatric Mechanical Ventilation Forum 2026* with the theme “Safe, Simple and Sustainable Approaches in Pediatric Mechanical Ventilation”.

In this famous academic event More than 200 delegates have participated, who have been invited from all over Asia More than 60 national faculty members And 20 International Faculty It is supported by a number of international organizations—including Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia—as well as experts from the UK and USA. The Forum serves as an important platform for knowledge exchange and regional collaboration in pediatric critical care.

Formal inauguration of this conference 21 February 2026 To *Professor Vivek Lal, who *Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Kiya, who was present as the chief guest on the occasion. In his inaugural address, Professor Lal emphasized the vital importance of education and a strong fundamental understanding of pediatric mechanical ventilation among healthcare providers treating critically ill children. He also praised the Pediatric Critical Care Division of PGIMER for its continued commitment to providing high-quality care to this vulnerable population.

Dr. Satoshi Nakagawa, Tokyo, Japan, founding member of the Asian Pediatric Mechanical Ventilation Forum emphasized the importance of cross-country collaboration and shared learning among Asian countries to advance pediatric critical care practice.

Professor Sunit Singhi, former Head of Pediatrics Department at PGIMER Chandigarh emphasized the need for a good understanding of ventilatory physiology and emphasized that patient-centered care should remain the basis of pediatric mechanical ventilation strategies.

The three-day forum included expert lectures, panel discussions and hands-on workshops aimed at strengthening clinical skills and promoting safe and sustainable ventilation practices for children in diverse healthcare settings.
