National Workshop on Power Electronics and E-Vehicles from 23rd at Supaul Engineering College
Supaul. A one-week national workshop is being organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Supaul Engineering College from 23 February to 28 February 2026. The theme of the workshop is – “Empowering the Future: Power Electronics, Electric Vehicles and Energy Storage Systems”.
This national workshop is being organized with the sponsorship of Bihar Council on Science and Technology. Eminent professors, researchers and subject experts from various prestigious national institutes of technology and other government engineering colleges will deliver lectures in the programme.
The main objective of the workshop is to make students, researchers and teachers aware of the latest research and industrial developments taking place in the field of power electronics, modern technology of electric vehicles, battery management systems, charging infrastructure and energy storage systems.
The week-long program will include expert lectures, technical sessions, interactive discussions, question-answer sessions and practical training.
Principal of the college, Dr. A. N. Mishra is the chief patron of the programme. Assistant professors of the department – Ajay Anand, Prakash Kumar, Pankaj Singh, Amrita, Suraj Kumar, Mohammad Warish Senan and Om Prakash Dubey are playing an active role under the leadership of Dr. Raja Gandhi, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, as the convener and coordinator of the workshop.
Especially the Dean of the college, Dr. Chandan Kumar has had an important and commendable contribution in organizing the event. With his guidance and coordination, the outline of the program was prepared and national level experts were invited. Due to his influential role in administrative and academic coordination, the event is expected to be conducted at a high level.
According to the college administration, through this type of national level program, students will get the latest technical knowledge and will get an opportunity to connect with research, innovation and industry. This workshop will provide a new direction to technical education and skill development in the entire region including the institute.
