New Delhi : Four Indian Youth Congress leaders arrested in connection with their protest at the AI ​​Summit at Bharat Mandapam were produced in the Patiala House Court. Those arrested have been identified as Krishna Hari, Kundan Yadav, Ajay Kumar and Narsingh Yadav. Delhi Police has sought 5 days custody of the accused and the court order is reserved.

Patiala House Court asked the Investigation Officer why five days’ custody was required. The investigating officer said there was a deep-rooted conspiracy, the other accused fled the scene, and custody was required for a proper investigation. The lawyer for the accused said that there is no evidence to show that the protest was not peaceful. Arnesh Kumar’s guidelines were not followed. The prosecution opposed the bail application.

Delhi Police, while seeking remand, said that the accused had staged a protest similar to the one in Nepal. This was a conspiracy to defame the country at the international level. The order on custody and bail application is reserved.

Let us inform that Youth Congress workers raised slogans of ‘PM is Compromised’ against PM Narendra Modi during the demonstration at Bharat Mandapam on Friday. At the time when this protest took place, many dignitaries and representatives from India and abroad were present in the summit. Youth Congress workers suddenly reached near the main hall with banners and posters. The security personnel immediately swung into action and detained the protesters and escorted them out of the premises.
