Haryana: Uproar in Haryana’s Panipat police station, two accused beat up a policeman

Haryana News: There was an uproar inside the Sector-29 police station of Panipat in Haryana when two accused allegedly assaulted a policeman. It is alleged that both of them threw the policeman on the table and removed the stars from his uniform. Other policemen who came to intervene were also manhandled.

The policeman says that the smell of alcohol was coming from the mouth of the accused. When I tried to stop them, they started doing indecent acts. The police arrested both of them from the spot and presented them in the court, from where they were sent to judicial custody.

Police had arrived on information of robbery

The incident occurred on February 19 at around 11:30 pm. Sector-29 police station had received information about the robbery. ERV in-charge reached the spot along with EHC Vijay team. There, an accused named Ashu, resident of Sondhapur and Deepa, resident of Bhainswal, were found snatching money from Ravi. The police brought both of them to the police station for questioning.

Vandalism and ruckus in the police station

According to EHC Vijay, both of them started creating ruckus as soon as they reached the police station. The flower pots and plastic chairs kept in the police station were picked up and thrown on the ground.

It is alleged that he climbed on the table, took off his clothes and started performing indecently. When the policemen tried to stop them, they beat them up and tore the uniform of one of the policemen. The stars on the shoulders were also uprooted.

Medical confirmation of alcoholism

Policemen say that the smell of alcohol was coming from the mouth of the accused. Both of them were medically examined, in which alcohol consumption was confirmed.
