Prabhas revealed that he once ordered food by flight from Chennai to Mumbai for Adipurush team. Everyone was shocked and surprised by his act and they enjoyed the food.
In a recent interview, Prabhas spoke about his love for food and how SS Rajamouli teases him about it. He recalled that they were shooting for Adipurush in Mumbai. The team was feeling low and to he ordered food from Chennai to encourage them.
Prabhas said, “Everyone talks about my love for food. Even SS Rajamouli teases me about it! And yes. sometimes I do order food from another state. When we were shooting in Mumbai for Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, there was a cheat meal day on set. Everyone was feeling a bit low, so I thought, why not make it special?”
He ordered authentic Chennai food for dinner. Prabhas added, “I told them, “Today, I’ll get you authentic Chennai food.” They were excited and waiting… 10 PM… 11 PM… still no food. I told them not to eat anything else only Chennai food that night! After waiting for two to three hours, someone finally asked, “Where is it coming from?” I casually said, “From Chennai.”
Everyone was surprised to learn that food was coming from Chennai. He said, “They were shocked! They thought I meant a local Chennai-style restaurant in Mumbai. But no I had actually arranged for the food to be brought all the way from Chennai by flight, packed properly in hot carriers to keep it fresh and warm.”
It was original and authentic flavour and everyone enjoyed the food very much. Prabhas said, “Yes, it sounds crazy, but I love original and authentic flavors. Even if we find local alternatives, I really miss the real taste from home. And when the food finally arrived it was absolutely worth the wait.”
