IND vs AUS W: Mandhana-Jemimah’s storm, India defeated Australia and won the T20 series

India women’s team won the T20 series against Australia in spectacular style. Under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, Team India defeated Australia by 17 runs in the third and decisive match and won the three-match series 2-1. The match was played at Adelaide Oval, where the Indian batsmen performed strongly.

Mandhana-Jemima’s powerful partnership

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, the Indian team scored 176 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues laid the foundation of this big score. Mandhana played an explosive inning of 82 runs in 55 balls. His innings included 8 fours and 3 sixes, while the strike rate was more than 149. Chasing the target of 177 runs, the Australian team could score only 159 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.
