Major accident near Srinagar: 7 soldiers injured after CRPF vehicle falls into canal, relief and rescue operation underway

Srinagar. At least seven soldiers were injured when a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) vehicle fell into a canal near Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir, on Saturday. According to officials, the accident occurred in the morning on Dagpora-Umarhair Road in Ahmednagar area. It is reported that the driver lost control of the vehicle, due to which the vehicle slipped off the road and fell into the canal.

Relief and rescue operations were launched immediately after the incident and all the injured soldiers were immediately admitted to a hospital in Srinagar. The condition of all the injured is stable. After the incident, an operation was also launched to take out the CRPF vehicle from the canal.
