Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s big attack on Congress, said – ‘Before 2014, politics was looting’

Union Energy Minister and former Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar has strongly targeted the opposition, especially the Congress Party. During his one-day visit to Panipat, he claimed that after the formation of the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014, there has been a major change in the political culture of the country.

‘Politics is now a medium to serve the country’

Khattar said that earlier people had a negative perception about politics. He alleged that before 2014, people came into politics only to earn money and ‘loot’. He said that at that time the thinking of politicians was limited only to their own and their family’s interests.

“Earlier the image of a political person used to be very bad among the public. The thinking of the leaders was limited only to self-interest and family, where the principle of ‘me first and everything else later’ followed.” — Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Minister

Giving credit for this change to Prime Minister Modi, he said that his vision has established the politics of ‘Nation First, Me Later’. According to Khattar, the result of this positive change is that now educated people and those who wish to serve the country selflessly are also coming into politics with enthusiasm.

Lab inauguration and other programs in Panipat

The Union Minister remained very active during his Panipat visit. He also inaugurated a new ‘Technical Lab Diagnosis Centre’ in the city. This center will provide better health check-up facilities to the local people. Apart from this, he also participated in many other social and political programs and established direct communication with party workers and general public.
