There used to be fights every day, so when the in-laws reached their house, they shot the wife.

A man living in Faridabad allegedly murdered his wife. It is being told that he used to have arguments with his wife every now and then. Gradually the conflict between the two increased so much that they started the process of divorce. After this, the wife had left her husband’s house and was living at her mother’s house, but on Friday the husband reached there and shot and killed the wife.

 

According to the police, the bullet was fired at Sunlight Colony of Basantpur village at 8 pm. The name of the deceased woman is Sangeeta Devi and her age was 30 years. He also has two children. According to the police, there was also a fight going on between the family members of the husband and wife.

Argument between husband and wife

The process of divorce was going on between the two but the divorce had not taken place yet. On Friday, the accused man along with some of his relatives had reached the house of his wife Sangeeta, where after reaching he came to know that his wife Sangeeta was not at home. When the accused came out of Sangeeta’s house, he saw Sangeeta coming into the street. Then an argument started between the two. After this the husband got angry and opened fire on his wife. Sangeeta was hit by three bullets. After shooting the husband fled from the spot.

As soon as they heard the sound of the bullet, the people of the street came out of their homes. Seeing Sangeeta’s condition, the family members and neighbors together admitted her to a private hospital in Sector 31, but the doctors declared Sangeeta dead. The family members have lodged a complaint with the police regarding this matter.

The accused was not arrested

After receiving the complaint about this matter, the police reached the spot and sent Sangeeta’s dead body for post-mortem. Although the police is investigating the case seriously, the police have not been able to arrest the accused yet.

 

Palla station police officer Satya Prakash said, ‘A case of murder has been registered and a team has been formed to arrest the accused. Initial investigation has revealed a divorce dispute between husband and wife. Further investigation is ongoing.
