If you want to avoid civil war… Rambhadracharya warned the Central Government on the rules of UGC, said – I will not let anyone do as per my wish

Lucknow : Jagadguru Rambhadracharya has made a sharp attack on the policies of the Central Government from the stage of the grand Ramkatha organized in Basti district of Uttar Pradesh. Especially his displeasure regarding the new controversial rules of UGC has come out openly. He gave a clear warning to the government and said that laws that divide the society are not acceptable at any cost. This statement of Rambhadracharya has come at a time when a new debate is going on in the country regarding the increasing tension between education and social system.

Open challenge to the government on UGC rules

Let us tell you that during the grand Ram Katha in Badhani village of Kaptanganj block of Basti, Jagadguru Rambhadracharya directly targeted the central government. He raised the question in strong words that what was the need of these new UGC guidelines in the country? Jagadguru clearly warned that spreading discrimination and division in the society is absolutely not acceptable. He warned the government that if civil war is to be avoided then these rules will have to be withdrawn immediately. This law will not be implemented during his tenure.

Guru Vashishtha never discriminated against anyone…Dharmacharya

Giving the example of the close relationship between Maharishi Vashishtha and Nishad Raj, Dharmacharya gave the message to the society to remain united. He said that Guru Vashishtha never discriminated against anyone and gave full respect to Nishad Raj also. While narrating the incident of Mahabharata, Rambhadracharya said that if Dronacharya had not refused to teach Karna, perhaps a war as terrible as Mahabharata would not have happened. He cautioned against the growing casteist mentality in the society, calling it destructive.

Advice for introspection to Brahmin community

During the story, he gave bitter advice to the Brahmin community to return to their original identity and sacrificial values. He regretted that today many Brahmins have started consuming meat, fish and liquor, which is the main reason for their downfall. Rambhadracharya proudly said that the Brahmin has never been a casteist, rather he has been a guide for all. He appealed to such people to become self-aware so that the dignity and sanctity of Sanatan Dharma can be saved.

The great tradition of Guru Vashishtha

Rambhadracharya described Vice Chancellor Brahmarishi Vashishtha as the great sage who taught the scriptures and Rajdharma to Lord Rama and his brothers. He reminded that Maharaj Dasharatha himself had reached Vashishtha’s ashram for the better future of his sons. Lord Ram also always remained in touch with Guru Vashishtha during any crisis or mental confusion. In the story, with the collective singing of ‘Bhaye Pragat Kripala’, the entire pandal was drenched in the ocean of devotion and the atmosphere became divine.

Ram’s political message

Himachal Pradesh Governor Shivpratap Shukla, who was present in the program, said that Ram is the real foundation of entire India. Referring to Guru Vashishtha’s spirit of service, he said that he alone nurtured ten thousand students. The Governor gave a big lesson to the politicians that if they really want to do politics then they should follow the dignity of Purushottam Ram, who takes everyone along. In the end, Jagadguru presented Ramcharitmanas to the Governor, which was the most inspiring moment of this spiritual event.
