The body of a youth who fell into the canal along with his bike last night from the canal bridge on Ghiror Road was recovered after about 16 hours. SDRF team was continuously running the search operation. With the help of the villagers, the body of the young man was finally taken out of the canal.
It has been told that the deceased youth was going to attend a wedding ceremony in Kukamai village of Kurawali police station area. Meanwhile, suddenly his bike went out of control on the canal bridge located on Ghiror Road and fell into the canal.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police and administration reached the spot. Heavy police force including SDM Neeraj Dwivedi, CO Sachitanand, Inspector Lalit Bhati remained deployed at the spot. The SDRF team conducted a search operation throughout the night and finally recovered the body of the youth.
After the dead body was found, the family members were in bad condition and crying. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The incident has sent a wave of grief through the entire family.
