  • 250 grams paneer (cut into square slices)
  • 2 large onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (make puree)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • 8-10 cashews (soak and make paste)
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp kasoori methi
  • salt as per taste
  • 2-3 tbsp oil or ghee

How to make Paneer Pasanda

Hotel-like Paneer Pasanda can be prepared at home also. For this, first of all apply a little salt and red chilli to the cheese slices and keep them aside. If you want, you can fry the paneer in a little oil until it turns golden. This improves the taste and texture of cheese.

Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add finely chopped onion and fry until it turns golden. Now add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell goes away. After this add tomato puree and add spices like turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli powder and cook well until the oil starts separating.
