Premier League points table: Manchester City closes in on Arsenal with win over Newcastle

Manchester City continued to close in on Arsenal for the Premier League title as it beat Newcastle United 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

After 27 rounds, Pep Guardiola’s side now is just two points fewer than leader Arsenal. City’s youth academy product Nico O’Reilly scored both goals, while Lewis Hall netted once for the Magpies.
