Siddaramaiah and Pawan Kalyan congratulate Shivarajkumar on completing 4 decades in films
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Andhra Pradesh Deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan have congratulated Kannada actor Dr Shivarajkumar on him completing 4 decades in film industry.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah took to his X account to congratulate Shivarajkumar and wrote, “Congratulations to the renowned actor Shivraj Kumar, the Hat-trick Hero, who has completed 4 successful decades in the Kannada film industry. During my free time, I have watched and enjoyed many of his movies.
The CM added, “Rathasapthami, Janumada Jodi, Jodi Hakki, Tagaru—through a string of hit films like these, Shivraj Kumar has taken the glory of Kannada cinema to new heights, and no one can match his acting prowess. Wishing that the divine blesses Shivananna, the darling of Kannadigas, who is engaged not only in the service of art but also in social service, with long life and good health.”
Shivarajkumar thanked Siddaramaiah for his wishes as he wrote, “Heartfelt thanks for the immense support you are extending to art, artists, and the Kannada film industry. The bond we share with you is truly invaluable to me and our family, and I will forever remain indebted to your love.”
Pawan Kalyan also tweeted, “My heartfelt congratulations to Karunada Chakravarthy Sri Shiva Rajkumar @NimmaShivanna garu on completing four remarkable decades in cinema, proudly carrying forward the legacy of his father, my favourite hero, Kannada Superstar Dr. Rajkumar. Wishing him continued success, good health, and many more milestones ahead.”

Dr ShivaRajkumar took to his X account to thank Pawan Kalyan, Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh. He tweeted, “Your love towards Appaji and me means a lot to me and my family @PawanKalyan avare. Thank you for the kind words, it is immensely cherished. Wishing you the best of everything always. Love and gratitude ❤️”
Shiva Rajkumar is the eldest son of matinee idol Dr. Rajkumar. He is also fondly known as “Shivanna” by his fans. He made his first onscreen appearance in a blink and miss role in the 1968 movie Dhoomakethu – alongside V Ravichandran. He was then seen in the 1974 movie Sri Srinivasa Kalyana as a child artiste. He made his acting debut as hero with Anand (1986). He has starred in over 100 movies in his career spanning four decades.
