George Linde is a South African cricketer. He made his international debut for South Africa in October 2019. He is a left-arm spin bowler from the northern suburbs of Cape Town.

In the 2017–18 domestic one-day cup, he took 15 wickets and finished sixth on the wicket-takers list. He played for Cape Town Blitz in the 2018–19 Mzansi Super League, taking five wickets in five matches. George Linde’s Personal Life

George Linde started as a seam bowler in school but changed to spin after being selected for the Western Province Under-13 team. During his school years, he focused more on batting, but a coach encouraged him to develop his spin bowling.

After school, Linde played club cricket in the UK for one season. He then returned to South Africa and moved from the Western Province amateur team to the Cobras franchise team. With Dane Piedt in the side, Linde mainly played limited-overs cricket, where he built his reputation.

George Linde Contract

George has signed with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club for the 2026 Vitality T20 Blast. He will be available for the entire group stage and knockout rounds from May to July.

The 34-year-old left-arm spinning allrounder has experience in multiple T20 leagues and previously played in the Blast for Kent between 2022 and 2023. He also represented Trent Rockets in The Hundred last summer at Trent Bridge.
