Afghan border air attack Pak army! At least 17 dead, ‘retaliation is only a matter of time’, warns Taliban
Pakistan and Afghanistan in conflict again. Pak army launched airstrikes on Afghan border. So far, 17 Afghan nationals have been reported dead in the incident. The attack was strongly condemned by the Taliban government of Afghanistan. They warned that the retreat is only a matter of time.
According to Afghan media reports, Pakistan Army launched airstrikes in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar and Paktika provinces late on Saturday night. ‘Death’ rains down on innocent Afghan citizens. At least 17 people died in the incident. Among them are many children and women. Not only that, many citizens are also buried under the rubble. However, Pakistan Army claims that the ‘targeted strike’ was carried out to destroy the militant camps active on the Afghan border. Pakistan’s Ministry of Information wrote in a statement, ‘Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and affiliated terrorist organizations of the Islamic State had built several militant camps in the region. They were using Afghan territory to carry out militancy. The Taliban government did not take any action against them. This operation was carried out after receiving information from secret sources.

The Taliban strongly condemned the attack. Taliban government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said, “Pakistan army has crossed the airspace in Nangarhar and Paktika provinces late on Saturday night. Innocent citizens including women and children have died. Pakistan is carrying out this attack to hide its security weaknesses. We will respond at the right time.”

It should be noted that Pakistan has been in conflict with the Taliban government since taking control of Kabul in 2021. The two countries had a bloody conflict in the recent past. The situation became heated with attacks and counter-attacks. Pakistan alleges that the Taliban is sheltering militants in Afghan territory. By using the soil of that country, they are supporting terrorist activities. But Kabul has repeatedly rejected this allegation.
