‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’ box office day 2 shows weekend surge

Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s new film, Do crazy people see mesaw a strong start at the box office over its first weekend.

After its debut on Friday, February 22, the romantic drama made Rs 1.60 crore on Saturday, according to early reports by Sack girl.

As per Firstpostthe film had collected Rs 2.85 crore net by Saturday, while its overall gross amounted to Rs 3.42 crore.

It is pertinent to mention, the weekend release came alongside other big films such as Shahid Kapoor and Tripti Dimri’s O’Romeo and Taapsee Pannu’s Assi.

Meanwhile, O’Romeo continues to hold a strong box office presence, Do crazy people see me managed a steady opening, with analysts keeping an eye on how the competition could shape the weekend numbers.

Furthermore, the report indicated, the film did better on Saturday, with more people going to Hindi shows.

The much anticipated drama’s total attendance was 13.42 per cent, with 4.54 per cent occupancy in the morning, 11.85 per cent in the afternoon, 15.62 per cent in the evening, and 21.69 per cent at night.
