Gautam Adani visited Baba Baidyanath Dham temple, met Nishikant Dubey at his house, will take stock of 2400 MW power plant of Pirpainti.

Deoghar: Gautam Adani, the country’s famous industrialist and chairman of Adani Group, reached the Baba temple on Sunday and offered prayers to Bhole Baba. On reaching Baba Mandir, he was first taken to the administrative building. There he made a formal resolution amid Vedic chanting. There the resolution was taken by his ancestral pilgrimage priest Dani Naraune and his associates. After that he was taken to the sanctum sanctorum to worship Baba Bhole under full security arrangements. There he performed the ritual worship of Baba Bhole. He stayed in Baba’s sanctum sanctorum for about seven minutes.

After offering prayers to Baba Bhole, he said that for a long time he had a desire to come to Babadham and have darshan of Baba Bhole. Today he has attained peace of mind by bowing his head at the feet of Baba Baidyanath. They have come here only to attain peace of mind. Baba Bhole is requested to bless Jharkhand as well as entire India with happiness, peace and prosperity. Tight security arrangements were made for his arrival at the temple. After offering prayers, he was presented the symbol of Baba Bhole by Santosh Kumar, District Sports Officer cum Assistant In-charge of Baba Mandir. His personal bodyguards were also there. He landed at Deoghar airport by private plane and from there directly reached Baba Mandir for worship. It is known that he left from Deoghar to inspect the power plant project of Adani Group being set up in Pirpainti, Bihar.

From the temple, Gautam Adani reached the house of Godda MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey. There, Gautam Adani had a courtesy meeting with the MP. During the meeting, Dr. Nishikant Dubey warmly welcomed Gautam Adani and presented him a memento, which made the atmosphere even more cordial. The main focus of discussion was Adani Group's energy projects in Jharkhand and Bihar, regional development, public welfare and future investment opportunities.Dr. Dubey lauded the success of the 1600 MW (2 x 800 MW) thermal power plant operating at Godda, which is currently supplying electricity to Bangladesh and will soon be connected to the Indian grid.

He said that this project has proved important for the local economy and employment. During this, Gautam Adani said that Nishikant Dubey is his best friend. It is with his encouragement that he has set up a power project in Godda. His support has always been positive for Godda Power Project and Group. Under his guidance we are investing in Jharkhand. They have asked for a cement plan and they are working in that direction also. The MPs are trying to fulfill what he has said. He said that he has reached Babadham after a long wait of five years. Meanwhile, MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey said that he is thankful to Gautam Adani that on his request he invested here. After the formation of Jharkhand, the biggest industry here was set up in Godda. It was completed in a very short time. Due to this people have got employment.
