According to the villagers, the woman was trying to take the children with her by luring them. On suspicion, the villagers caught the woman and informed the police.

The police reached the spot and took the woman into custody and took her to the police station, but after interrogation she was released saying she was mentally ill. After this action of the police, there is an atmosphere of fear among the people of the village.

Earlier, in Panki police station area of ​​Kanpur, a woman had taken a two-year-old girl with her by luring her with toffee. It is alleged that the woman filled the child in a sack and started running away with it on her back.

The people nearby became suspicious after hearing the sound of the girl crying from inside the sack. When people caught hold of the woman and opened the sack, the girl was found inside. After this, people handed over the girl safely to her family members and handed over the woman to the police.
