PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Installment Date Update: Crores of farmers of the country are waiting for the next installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The financial assistance received every four months proves to be a great relief for the farmers. This time, even after January, the 22nd installment has not been released, due to which there is confusion in the minds of the farmers.
However, no definite date has been announced yet by the government. This is the reason why farmers are continuously waiting for official information.
When can the 22nd installment come?
It is being claimed on many media platforms that the 22nd installment can be released on February 24. However, this date has not been confirmed by the Central Government or the Agriculture Ministry.
It has also been said in some reports that the amount can be transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers before Holi, but till now no official announcement has been made by the government, hence nothing can be said regarding the 22nd installment. However, farmers are advised to avoid rumors and trust only the official website or government announcements.
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 6000 is given every year to eligible farmers. This amount is sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiary in three equal installments. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers in the expenses related to farming. When the installment is released, the beneficiaries get the payment directly through DBT, which maintains transparency.
How to check PM Kisan status
- If farmers want to know the status of their installment then they have to visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in.
- Know Your Status option is available in the Farmer’s Corner section on the homepage.
- After this, after entering the registration number and the security code given on the screen, OTP will be received on the registered mobile number.
- As soon as the OTP is entered, complete information related to the installment will be visible on the portal.
- While checking the status, make sure that the information entered is correct, so that there is no problem of any kind.
Why does the installment stop?
Many times, the reason for installment not arriving on time may also be incomplete information in the application or lack of documents. If Aadhaar card is not linked to the bank account, PAN verification is not done or there is a mistake in the bank details then the payment may get stuck.
If pending status is visible on the portal then it means that the application process has not been completed. In such a situation, the farmer should update the related documents and correct the mistakes as soon as possible. If all the work is done properly in time, then the next installment will come into the account without any interruption.

Unless the official date is announced by the Agriculture Ministry or the Central Government, any possible date cannot be considered final. Farmers should regularly check the updates on the official portal. Only after the government’s announcement, the actual date of the 22nd installment will be clear and the wait of the farmers will end.
