Brakes of Ferrari worth Rs 4 crore failed in Hyderabad, many people injured due to heavy collision

Telangana: A speeding Ferrari car caused a major accident in Jubilee Hills of Hyderabad on Sunday. This luxury car, driven by businessman Kranthi Reddy, suddenly went out of control and crossed the divider and collided with several vehicles coming from the front. Many people were injured and many vehicles were badly damaged in this massive collision.

This accident happened on Road No. 45 of Jubilee Hills on Sunday morning. According to the police, the brakes of the car failed and there was a problem with the steering lock, due to which the driver could not control the car. The Ferrari traveling at high speed hit the light mast in the middle of the road, which fell.

After this the car jumped the divider and went to the other side and collided with the cars and two-wheelers coming from the front. At least three people were injured in the accident, who were immediately admitted to the nearest hospital. The condition of all the injured is said to be stable and they are out of danger.

The price of Ferrari car is said to be around Rs 3.5 to 4 crore. After the accident, the front part of the car was completely damaged and the airbags also opened. The collision was so strong that some other vehicles coming behind also got damaged in the chain reaction. Police and traffic team immediately reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital. There was a traffic jam on the road, due to which vehicles had to be diverted to the other side.

Police investigation and action

Police have registered the case on the complaint of the victims. In the investigation, brake failure and steering fault are being considered as the main reasons. Driver Kranthi Reddy’s alcohol test has come negative. Technical examination of the car is being done by the Motor Vehicle Inspector so that the exact cause of the accident can be known. The complete identity of the injured and other details of the accident have not been revealed yet.
