David Miller became player of the match

Batsman David Miller was the hero of this big victory of South Africa. He played an explosive inning of 63 runs facing 35 balls. In his innings, Miller hit 7 fours and 3 sixes and by scoring runs quickly in the last overs, he took the team to a strong score. His innings proved to be very important in pressure situations. For his excellent innings, Miller was named ‘Player of the Match’. Award was also given.

Stubbs and Brewis also played explosive innings

Dewald Brewis gave the team momentum by scoring 45 runs in 29 balls. His innings included 3 fours and 3 sixes. Tristan Stubbs showed pace in the last overs and scored 44 runs in 24 balls. He hit 1 four and 3 sixes. The innings of these two batsmen gave good support to Miller and took the score beyond 180.

Jasprit Bumrah was the most successful bowler from India. He took 3 wickets and controlled the run rate in the middle overs. Arshdeep Singh got 2 wickets, while Varun Chakraborty and Shivam Dubey took 1 wicket each. However, due to some expensive overs in the death overs, the score became bigger.

Team India’s poor batting exposed

With the defeat in this match, the poor batting of Team India’s middle order was also exposed. Ishan Kishan returned to the pavilion on the very first ball of the Indian innings with a score of zero.
