Big success of Gorakhpur Gorakhnath Police, rape accused arrested from Gujarat,

gorakhpur. Gorakhnath police station, achieving great success in a sensational rape case, arrested the accused who was absconding for six months from Gujarat and sent him to jail. The accused was dodging the police by constantly changing locations, but ultimately with the help of the police’s precise strategy and surveillance, he came under the grip of the law.
The matter is of August 2025. A woman resident of Rasoolpur police station area had filed a complaint in the police station alleging that her minor daughter was lured away by her maternal uncle’s son Firoz son of Hasmatullah, resident of Bhairoganj district, West Champaran. It is alleged that the accused kept the minor hostage for three months and raped her continuously. Not only this, the marriage was also forcibly performed through a Maulana.
Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police immediately registered a case under serious sections and started investigation. On the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Kaustubh, a special team was formed under the supervision of SP City Abhinav Tyagi and guidance of Area Officer Gorakhnath Ravi Kumar Singh.
Police station in-charge Vijay Pratap Singh handed over the responsibility of arresting the accused to the flamboyant sub-inspector Aditya Kumar Pandey. Surveillance team and informer mechanism were activated. Continuous technical and manual inputs were gathered. After a lot of effort, the location of the accused was traced to Gujarat.
As soon as the information was received, the police team left for Gujarat and the accused was arrested near Mama Luminates LLP, Maliya Milana police station, District Morbi (Gujarat), located on Maliya-Halwad Highway. After his arrest, the police brought him to Gorakhpur on transit remand.
Gorakhnath police completed the necessary legal action and presented the accused in the court, from where he was sent to jail. Police officials say that no accused will be spared in cases of crimes against women and children and the search for absconding criminals continues.
