There is a thousand pillared temple in Hanamkonda, Telangana state, which is also known as Rudreshwara Swamy Temple. The temple is called the Thousand Pillar Temple because the temple rests on pillars and there is no wall to support the temple. The structure of the temple is such that some pillars can be seen directly, but some pillars are so stuck to each other that they have taken the form of a long wall.
