India A Women’s team defeated Bangladesh A by 46 runs on Sunday to win the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 title. This victory was the result of a brilliant performance by India A, in which Tejal Hasbanis’ unbeaten 51 runs and captain Radha Yadav’s 36 runs played an important role.

Let us tell you, batting first, India A scored 134/7 in 20 overs. Openers Nandini Kashyap (8 runs on 15 balls) and Vrinda Dinesh (19 runs on 17 balls) both could not convert their starts into big innings. Anushka Sharma (8 runs) and Minnu Mani (0) were also out early.

But middle-order batsman Tejal Hasbanis performed brilliantly, scoring 51 runs in 34 balls, which included three fours and two sixes. Captain Radha Yadav also scored 36 runs in 30 balls, which included three fours and a six. With the help of this innings, India A crossed the score of 130 runs.

For Bangladesh, captain Fahima Kahtun tried to stop India’s innings by taking 4 wickets (4/25). Farzana Ismin (1/30) and Fatima Jahan Sonia (1/19) also took wickets.

Chasing the target of 135, Bangladesh got off to a poor start. Opener Ishma Tanzeem was out after scoring just 3 runs in five balls. Wicketkeeper-batsmen Shamima Sultana (20 runs) and Sarmin Sultana (18 runs) put up some fight, but Bangladesh were all out for just 88 runs in 19.1 overs.

Let us tell you, India A’s bowling did not give any chance to Bangladesh’s batsmen. Sonia Mendhia (2/21), Tanuja Kanwar (2/11), and Prema Rawat (3/12) performed brilliantly. Saima Thakor (1/11), Minnu Mani (1/17), and Radha Yadav (1/16) also took one wicket each.

India’s Tejal Hassabnis was named player of the match for her brilliant half-century.
