This update on Evil Dead Wrath filming confirms that the project is actively moving forward, positioning it as the follow-up to the already-anticipated Evil Dead Burn, which is scheduled to hit theaters on July 24, 2026.
Given that production has started, it is speculated that the film could be released next year, though an official Evil Dead Wrath release date has not yet been set. This rapid momentum shows Warner Bros.’ commitment to keeping the Evil Dead franchise alive and thriving.
Additionally, the studio gave the update with a short title teaser packed with retro flair, including the franchise’s classic font and ominous horn-filled audio cues. Director Francis Galluppi, known for the critically acclaimed The Last Stop in Yuma County, is at the helm for Evil Dead Wrath. He joins a lineage of directors supposedly chosen by franchise creator Sam Raimi, following in the footsteps of Fede Álvarez (Evil Dead 2013), Lee Cronin (Evil Dead Rise), and Sébastien Vaniček (Evil Dead Burn).
