Faizan Khan raped a girl on the roof of the hospital on the pretext of marriage

A sensational case of rape of a minor student has come to light from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Police have arrested the accused Faizan Khan, who is accused of luring and raping a 16-year-old girl on the pretext of marriage.

According to the city’s Bahodapur police station in-charge Alok Parihar, a sixteen-year-old minor resident of Ramaji Ki Pulia in Islampura had gone missing on February 16. When he could not be found, his family informed the police. After receiving the information, the police registered a case of kidnapping as the missing was a minor and started the search. Investigation revealed that accused Faizan Khan took her first to Dholpur and then to Mathura. Police teams were continuously raiding three states in search of him. As soon as the police reached Mathura after knowing about this, the accused had left from there also.

According to the information, the accused returned to Gwalior to avoid arrest. He spent the night on the rooftop of Kamla Raja Hospital (KRH). There he hid himself by pretending to be a attendant of a patient. It is alleged that during this time he raped the minor.

The police was continuously chasing the accused. Police in Gwalior came to know that he was seen near Khatu Shyam Temple in Laxmiganj. On which the police laid siege and arrested the accused and freed the minor.

The victim has said in her statement to the police that the accused was keeping her with him by threatening and scaring her. Police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections including kidnapping and rape. Since he is a minor, the provisions of POCSO Act have also been applied in the case.
