News – Crime branch’s big action in Ranveer Singh threat case, look out notice issued against accused Harry Boxer

Mumbai Crime Branch is rapidly investigating the case of threat to Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. Now taking major action in this case, Mumbai Crime Branch has issued a Lookout Circular (LOC) against Harichandra alias Harry Boxer, a key alleged member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Police officials have confirmed that the action has been taken after a preliminary investigation into the threatening voice note and ransom demand received by the actor’s manager.

Mumbai Crime Branch has issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Harichandra alias Harry Boxer, who threatened Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. The police had sent the threatening voice note received by Ranveer Singh’s manager to Punjab and Haryana for verification. According to Mumbai Police, the sender of the voice note identified himself as Harry Boxer and demanded a ransom of Rs 20 crore.

Threatening voice note was sent from American phone number

According to Mumbai Crime Branch, this voice note was sent from an American phone number and it demanded a ransom of Rs 20 crore.
Earlier, Mumbai Police sources had indicated that the actor had allegedly received death threats and a ransom demand of Rs 10 crore from members associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
A senior police officer said that the threatening message was received on the WhatsApp number of Ranveer Singh’s manager.
The sender of the message identified himself as ‘Harry Boxer’.
After this, the crime branch sent this voice note to the agencies of Punjab and Haryana for verification.
American officials were also contacted to collect technical information related to the foreign number used to send the threat.
