CM Yogi Adityanath’s investment talks in Singapore: Possibility of big investment in health, logistics and data centers in UP

Singapore. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met several foreign investors and corporate representatives on Monday during his visit to Singapore. In the meeting he discussed in detail various aspects of investment opportunities, industrial cooperation and long-term partnership in UP.

Important discussion held with Temasek Holdings-
The Chief Minister met Teo Chee Hean, Chairman of Singapore’s leading investment company Temasek Holdings, and his team. Temasek’s global investment portfolio and investment opportunities in UP were discussed in the meeting. The Chief Minister invited Temasek to invest in infrastructure, logistics, health, warehousing, fintech-based urban development and other allied sectors in the state.

Investment in health and industrial infrastructure-
Information related to investment of about Rs 500 crore by Manipal Hospitals in Ghaziabad and about Rs 500 crore by Ascendas for development of logistics and warehousing facilities in the state was shared in the meeting. This investment is believed to give a new impetus to the health and industrial infrastructure in the state.

Cooperation in data center and skill development-
Both sides also agreed to possibilities of cooperation in data centres, skill development and other emerging sectors. This partnership will prove important in the direction of future-oriented infrastructure and employment generation of UP. This will help in making the state technically strong and economically capable.

The visit will provide Uttar Pradesh an opportunity to build stronger alliances with global investors and promote industry and technology infrastructure in the state.
