Motorola Edge 70 Fusion: Launch date and key features
Chinese technology company Motorola is going to launch the new smartphone Motorola Edge 70 Fusion in India in its Edge 70 series. The company has released the ‘Coming Soon’ poster on its social media platform, in which information about the design and other details of the new model has been shared.
When will it be launched?
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will be launched in India on February 28 at 12 noon. This model will be available exclusively on Flipkart, and the promotional page for it has also been made live.
Information about design
The design of the Edge 70 Fusion is inspired by Motorola’s signature look, with slim and curved edges that will provide a comfortable grip for the user. There will be a square camera module on the back panel of the phone, in which sensors and LED flash will be arranged with different rings. It will have a triple camera setup, which includes a quad-pixel 2μm OIS LYTIA sensor. The back panel will have a leather finish and will be available in three Pantone certified colors: Blue Surf, County Air, and Silhouette.
Confirmed Specifications
Although the company has not shared all the specifications, the promotional page on Flipkart suggests that this model will have a Quad Curved display supporting 1.5K resolution with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a peak brightness of 5200 nits. The back panel will have a 50MP Sony-LYT-710 primary camera and a 13MP ultrawide secondary camera, while a 32MP front camera will be available for selfies. All cameras will support 4K video recording.
One of the biggest features of this smartphone is its 7,000mAh battery, which is a big upgrade compared to previous models from Motorola. This can be a great option for users looking for long battery life. Along with this, it is expected to have 68W fast charging support and Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor can be used for better performance. This new model will come with Hello UI based on the latest Android 16.
Price and availability
No official information has been given about the price of Motorola Edge 70 Fusion in India. However, its price in the market is likely to be less than Rs 30,000. The previous Edge 60 Fusion was priced at Rs 22,999, while the price of the standard Edge 70 has been increased from Rs 29,999 to Rs 32,999. On this basis, the new Fusion model can be positioned between these two.
