Delhi Police makes 5th arrest over Youth Congress’s demonstration at AI Impact Summit, three arrested so far from Gwalior

Gwalior/New Delhi, 23 February. Delhi Police, which swung into action after the half-naked demonstration of Youth Congress workers on Friday, the last day of the AI ​​Impact Summit in the national capital last week, arrested Congress leader Jitendra Yadav from Gwalior last night. Delhi Police has so far arrested five accused in this case.

Actually, the police is taking action on the basis of the video on social media. On the basis of the footage, former Youth Congress State Secretary Jitendra, living in the University Police Station area of ​​Gwalior, has been arrested. After the arrest, the police took Jitendra Yadav to Delhi. So far, three Youth Congress leaders have been arrested from Gwalior in this case. Apart from Jitendra Yadav, names of Ajay Kumar and Raja Gurjar are also included in these.

As soon as the information about Jitendra’s arrest was received, Congress District President, Rural District President all reached the SP office, but no information was found anywhere. Gwalior Police is avoiding saying anything regarding this matter.

What do family members say??

Family members told that Jitendra was in his room. Suddenly there was a sound at the gate of the house. By the time the family members came out, the police went straight to his room and picked him up and brought him downstairs. He told that the police beat him and took him to Delhi in a Scorpio car. The family went to the police station along with some leaders, but were not allowed to meet. The family was contacted only through his mobile.

Four accused presented in Patiala court

Earlier on Saturday, the other four accused – Krishna Hari, Kundan Yadav, Ajay Kumar and Narasimha Yadav were produced in Delhi’s Patiala House Court. The court has kept the four accused in police custody for five days. A case has been registered against the accused under Section 121, 61(2) of the Indian Judicial Code. It is alleged that all these youth leaders had performed half naked in the program.

It is noteworthy that on February 20, the last day of AI Impact Summit, a strange scene was seen at Bharat Mandapam, when some Youth Congress workers started creating ruckus. They staged a protest at Bharat Mandapam and also raised anti-Modi slogans. After some time, the police removed these people from there and took 10 people into custody.

There was chaos due to the demonstration

The protesters associated with the Youth Congress had arrived marching inside Hall No. 5. They were wearing or holding white T-shirts with pictures of Prime Minister Modi and US President Donald Trump printed on them, and slogans like ‘India US trade deal’, ‘Epstein files’ and ‘PM is compromised’. Some protesters also took off their T-shirts. There was chaos there due to their protest. During this, a heated argument also took place between some participants present in the program and some protesters.
