Drug addiction awareness program organized on the second day of Police Week in Bhagalpur.

On the second day of Police Week in Bhagalpur, Bihar, a special awareness program was organized with the message of de-addiction. On this occasion, police officers and people ran on the streets of the city to spread anti-drug awareness.

An awareness rally was organized in the morning in which a large number of policemen participated. All of them were holding placards and banners with messages related to de-addiction. During the run, people were made aware by raising slogans like ‘Quit drug addiction, add life’ and ‘Healthy youth, strong society’.

Police officials said that drug addiction is one of the biggest challenges for the future of youth today. Addiction to alcohol, drugs and other intoxicating substances affects a person’s health and also affects the family and society. Therefore it is necessary to make the youth aware in time.

During the programme, local people and students also participated in the rally. The police administration appealed to the youth to stay away from wrong company and focus on their goals in life. Officials said that if anyone has a problem related to drug addiction, he can contact the police or the concerned department and get help.

Under the Police Week, various social and public awareness programs will be organized in the coming days, the aim of which is to establish better relations between the police and the general public and to bring positive change in the society.
