Ranchi: The weather took a turn in the capital Ranchi on Monday night. The rain in Ranchi brought relief from the heat that has been prevailing for the last several days. Due to Western Disturbance, many areas including Ranchi, Lohardaga, Chatra, Garhwa, Gumla, Khunti, Koderma, Palamu and Ramgarh received rain with strong wind at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour on Monday night. During this period, clouds also thundered at some places. According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of thunderstorm along with strong wind in many districts on Tuesday. There is also a possibility of light rain.

Yellow alert in some districts

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in these districts. Due to rain, there is a possibility of a gradual decrease in the minimum temperature by two to three degrees Celsius during the next three days. There will be fog in the morning and cloudy sky during the day. On February 25, there will be fog in the morning and partly cloudy sky during the day, while the weather will be dry. The weather will remain clear from 25th February. Chaibasa had the highest temperature on Monday. The maximum temperature here was 34.4 degrees Celsius. Gumla had the lowest temperature. The minimum temperature here was 12 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Ranchi was 29.6 degrees and the minimum temperature was 14 degrees Celsius. Whereas the maximum temperature of Medininagar was 32.8 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 13.6 degrees Celsius.

61.83% voting in 48 bodies in Jharkhand, highest in Seraikela and lowest in Ranchi.
